The Connecticut Ballet will present a sneak preview of its annual Ballet Under The Stars at the West Hartford Arts League on Friday, July 13th at 12:30pm in the gallery space. The performance is open to all summer campers and their families. 

Artistic Director Brett Raphael will narrate excerpts from ‘Raymonda Variations,’ a classical ballet by Marius Petipa with music by Alexander Glazounov, and ‘Pulse,’ a contemporary dance by Darrell Grand Moultrie with music by United Future Organization, a Japanese techno group. The professional dancers will then answer questions from the audience and talk about careers in the arts. 

Families are invited to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy on the grounds prior to the performance. Feel free to bring blankets and chairs. The dance performance will take place in the gallery at 12:30 pm and will last approximately 50 minutes.
