Our galleries are staffed by volunteers that are scheduled monthly by our Gallery Assistant. We do our best to ensure that volunteers arrive at the appointed hours to keep our galleries open. If you are interested in helping as a volunteer, please call the office and speak with our Gallery Assistant, Tina Boyson, to be put on our list.

The West Hartford Art League Saltbox and Clubhouse Gallery are located at 37 Buena Vista Road, in West Hartford.

We are easily accessed from Interstate 84 east or west.

Take exit 43 off of Rt. 84 (Park Road, West Hartford). Take a left off the exit onto Park Road. Continue straight on this road, it will cross South Main St. and turn into Sedgwick. 

Continue straight on Sedgwick. As it starts to curve to the right, it will turn into Mountain Road.

On your left will be our Schoolhouse Building at 87 Mountain Road, where we hold studio classes.

Take a left before the Schoolhouse onto Buena Vista Road.

Drive down Buena Vista Road and on the left, you will see a large paintbrush and palette sign, across the street from Solomon Schecter School. Turn left into our parking lot.

The Saltbox Gallery and our offices are located on your right.
